1) Introduction to GSM

• Evolution of GSM
• GSM Network Components and their Functionality
• GSM: The Radio Interface

2) The future of mobile telecommunications

• History of Wireless Communications
• Second Generation Cellular Systems
• Advanced Wireless Technologies:  4G and Beyond
• WiMAX and Wi-Fi
• Proprietary Broadband Wireless Technologies

3) Radio Frequency basics and principles

Qualifications

• At least a BS in Electronics or related degree
• Experience in training on the above mentioned areas
• Knowledge of GSM and GPRS networks and product, theory of operation and traffic engineering
• Knowledge of radio and wireless technologies
