Job Overview:
Leather Enterprises is a company in Western Kenya that is involved in providing leather products to its customers.
Responsibilities include but not limited to maintaining correct and accurate records, purchasing materials and equipment; conducting invoice activities; paying vendors for delivered materials; providing inventory support; processing payroll and performing clerical/administrative functions.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating skills to organize and maintain financial records including:
Company activity accounts
Processing purchase orders for supplies
Providing monthly and yearly financial reports
Accounts payable open purchase order file
Fixed asset account
Tracking of company expenses
Maintaining correct records for stock
Administrative skills to monitor financial data and interpret financial policies and procedures
Requirements:
Ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office equipment
Ability to travel frequently and within short notice
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English and Kiswahili.
Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
Qualifications
Diploma in Business related field
CPA Part 1 or 2 with a minimum of 6 months relevant experience.
Station & contract period
Fixed term internship for 3 months with the possibility of extensions subject to performance.
The duty station is Awasi. Project-based
The intern will be paid Ksh 10,000 per month.
