Plan International (in Kenya) is recruiting the following which are all based in Nairobi:
1. Child Protection Advisor
Reports to the Strategic Program Support Manager.
The post holder directly
manages a small national level engagement programme budget at the
Country Office and is responsible for providing strategic leadership and
technical support in the design and implementation of projects
interventions that can effectively deliver the Right to Inclusion and
Protection program so as to increase effectiveness of child protection
mechanisms at family, community and institutional levels.
S/he indirectly works with respective Programme Coordinators.
2. Gender Advisor
Reports to the Strategic Program Support Manager.
The purpose of this role
is to provide strategic leadership and technical support in the
integration and mainstreaming gender in all the programs as well as in
the organizational practices.
3. Learning Advisor
Reports to the Strategic Program Support Manager.
The purpose of this role is to provide strategic leadership and technical support in the design and, implementation of projects interventions that can effectively deliver the Right to Quality Basic Education program.
The position holder will
support development of innovations that increase opportunities for
access to Early Child Care and Development (ECCD) and primary quality
education especially for vulnerable groups of children
